Originally from Glasgow, Robert has spent most of his adult life in East Anglia, the exceptions being a brief return to Scotland and a year living in the USA and Canada. Working in the IT sector, his earliest published works were magazine articles–mainly appearing in computing periodicals, although he also contributed to music titles and won a national short story competition.
His first full-length work was a fantasy trilogy (temporarily not available) followed by a supernatural novel: “A Conspiracy of Ravens”, originally self-published but now re-issued by Frog Hall Books.
“Rosary Road”, the first Kezia Lee novel, was initially published by Hobart Books, but their financial difficulties allowed Frog Hall Books to purchase the rights for the first three books in the series. “A Case of Deception”, the second in the series, came out in April. The third, “The Midnight Club”, will be published later this year.
Using his alter ego Iain Andrews, he’s written a play performed by a local theatre company, produced a script for a “ghostly dinner” evening at Norwich Guildhall which received a glowing report in the local press, and crafted a Murder Mystery game for a Norfolk gin company (which fell victim to Covid).
When not writing prose, Robert crafts and performs his own songs at a local folk club.
Gary Powell
A retired London police officer and now residing in the North Norfolk seaside town of Sheringham. Gary has published six books to date on true crime, crime thrillers and poetry; his seventh – a crime thriller – The Cutting Room – was published April 2025
He is a guide at St Paul’s Cathedral for the past fifteen years, a public speaker and a member of the Crime Writers Association.

The British Transport Police’s Major Investigations Team are called in to investigate the discovery of human remains deposited in a left luggage facility at Liverpool Street Station and on the backseat of a London black cab at Victoria’s busy bus terminal.
The team’s priority is the identification of the victim. Their only clues are a wedding band and a tattoo. McNally’s detectives have proven they can work under the most stressful of circumstances in Britain’s most unique policing environment; but with ever-growing tensions between some of its members reaching boiling point they need to come together quickly to meet their toughest challenge yet.
