Songwriters Performance Evenings
A Celebration of Local Musical Talent
Creative Sheringham is delighted to announce three unique evenings dedicated to original music, showcasing the talents of local singer-songwriters. Each event promises an enriching experience where music enthusiasts can listen to songs crafted by local passionate artists.
The Performers
Each evening will feature performances by three gifted local singer-songwriters, each bringing their unique style and musical vision to the stage. These talented individuals have curated special 45-minute sets, offering a glimpse into their songwriting processes and inspirations and sharing their stories through song.
The following acts have committed to performing on one of the nights; Peddars Way, The Browns, Joe & Mary, Bertie Bow, Kathryn Walford, Rhythm Travellers, Ervin Munir, Anthony Shiels and John & Pauline Pearce.
The Venue
The events will take place at Oddfellows Hall (4 Lifeboat Plain, Sheringham NR26 8BG). Which is known for its intimate and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying live music. The setting allows for a close connection between the performers and the audience, creating a memorable experience for all attendees.
The Music
Prepare to be captivated by an eclectic mix of genres and styles, ranging from soulful ballads to upbeat tunes. Each evening promises a diverse lineup, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Event Details
- Dates: The three evenings are scheduled for 20th, 25th and 30th May 2025, providing ample opportunity for fans to attend one or all of the performances.
- Time: Each event will start at 7:30 PM, with doors opening an hour earlier for those who wish to mingle and soak in the pre-show ambiance. We are aiming to finish by 22:15.
- Location: The venue is conveniently located in the heart of Sheringham, easily accessible by public transport and with ample parking nearby.
Tickets
Creative Sheringham aim to pay all performers. Tickets for each Songwriters Performance Evening event can be purchased online via Eventbrite or you can pay on the night at the venue. They are sold on a “what you can afford” basis. There will also be a tip jar available for anyone to drop some money into. All income will be shared between the performers.
Merchandise
Artists may also have merchandise available to purchase.
