Operating from the smart Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham, the North Norfolk Railway runs through the county’s most stunning coastal scenery via the village of Weybourne to and from the Georgian town of Holt. The famous ‘Royal Train’ episode of Dad’s Army was filmed at Weybourne Station.
Operated almost entirely by Volunteers from all walks of life, the line is East Anglia’s premier heritage railway.
Steam Trains run daily from 12 – 20 February, weekends in March and daily from 1 April to 30 October. The railway holds many Special Events throughout the year, with the ever popular Santa Specials at Christmas.
